I have given 4 stars because of the performance. Otherwise the body and the material of the kettle is not sturdy or robust. I remember, I purchased the same model kettle from pigeon some years back, that time the kettle was quite sturdy and heavy built..the quality of steel used was best and now they have drastically altered the build quality which I didn't like. Rest so far the kettle is doing good job. It's just that it's not worth for 1000plus bucks

I was a bit skeptical at first but after using it and getting a flow rate of up to 0.7 gram/sec, I was impressed. If you brew lighter roasts, which are brewed at considerably higher temperatures, like myself, you don’t even have to give a second thought. For medium and darker roast lovers, buy a thermometer or let it rest for a minute or two ,for med, and couple of more minutes for darker roasts, and you are good to go. Only one thing you need to keep in mind is, don’t go beyond the max marking else it will overflow, which apparently is not good for the kettle. Don’t spend unnecessary bucks on pour over kettle with temperature control or even bueno styles kettles and its cheap knockoffs save that’s money and either spend it on grinder, scale, expresso machines or most important of all good coffee beans. GO FOR IT !

Steam escapes from lid and the gaps below the indicator. Lid is steel which does not fit well leaving gaps for escape of steam. Temperature cutoff took more time than usual. As the lid is metal which is really close to the handle, there are chances of getting burns while holding the kettle with the handle.

I like it's shape, size get up. Cord length, temp control, cleanings all are exact what I need

This product gives you a electric schock each time you use it when it's switched on. Even when you touch the plastic handle. Do not buy this product. Ps: I am not able to return it since I just started to use it after more than a month since I was travelling. Stay safe
