This pre seasoned iron cast pan comes in a compact size good for 2-3 servings. It’s easy to cook as the heat is evenly distributed and perfect for steaks! Coming to the build, it’s jus strong and sturdy. The handle is also of iron which is something one has to be cautious about while cooking. Cleaning is just easy and the coating stays in tact. Just follow the instructions provided along with the Embassy skillet. Overall it’s a good buy!

The coating of the pan is very nice. The heat distribution and sturdiness is top notch. It is easy to clean too. The only reason I didn't give this a five-star is that the handle could have been a bit longer. Would have further improved the ease of use. Maybe also include a wooden spatula with the pan. It would have been a perfect companion.

i am writing this review after using the product for approx 7-8 times. This skillet is perfect for a small family (2-3) persons. the diameter is 8" and at the base its approx 6.5". when i received it at first, i used it for frying purpose so that the the pan will get seasoned with more oil in it. Thereafter i have started using it for cooking sabzis. As of now, i have not experienced any food sticking at the base. Without fail, i take care of it. After every use i wash it with detergent and then heat it a little so that the water evaporates. Thereafter i season it with oil. with proper seasoning and usage, the food doesn't stick. This is an under rated product on Amazon. With so many expensive iron skillets around, this one seemed less expensive and does its job perfectly. A WORD OF CAUTION: OBVIOUSLY THE HANDLE ALSO GETS HEATED WHILE COOKING. SO BE CAREFUL WITH THAT. it would be great if the company provides a cloth -cover for the handle. Overalll: i am satisfied.

I have different cast iron utensils of different brands. These are Indus Valley, Embassy, Vinod etc. Vinod is no doubt good one but Embassy is value for money. My kadai (10.5 inch) and this frying pan are from embassy. Both are excellent product. Don't have any complain. The most important aspect is seasoning of cast iron product. I have found better seasoning of embassy than ather above mentioned alternatives I have. But I seasoned it one time. It is not needed. If you know the using procedure of cast iron utensils and you are spending your hard earned money, you should go for this brand. If you have the problem to spend money, you can go for vinod or meyer or lodge products. They are beautiful products but not that much from embassy. My only suggestion is drying out the water after washing. No need of oiling the whole part repeatedly. Just go for this. Must check the size. It is for small family.

I am really not sure if it is cast iron. After using it for a few months it turned like this. Looks similar to Intallium utensils coated with black. If it is iron then how the color changing permanently.

I felt it was great value for money. The only feature which could be added to make it even better is a wooden handle as it tends to heat up. Otherwise very happy with the purchase. It will definitely last a lifetime.

Great for cooking a wide variety of things, can be used over gas stove or barbecue. Cleaning and storing this requires care as iron can rust easily. The pan has to be seasoned before use and after cleaning everytime so that it retains its non stick properties. If the pan is well seasoned, you need little oil for cooking. Retains heat good so can be used foe slow cooking.
