As a product it doesn't have any issues. I've ordered this set of bottles for the second time. They are really good. We've been using these bottles for more than a year and they are excellent. They don't get black inspite of using the borewell water. Maintenance is easy and the design is pretty good. My experience with other Copper bottles was that they become black over a period of time and the cap to close the bottle will be either tight or it leaks. Go for it. My Only bad experience this time is the delivery. I wanted to send these bottles to my daughter (who is living in another country) and at the time of the order it was stated that by Friday (Dec 8th) before 8PM the bottles will be delivered. I confidently ordered because I never had a bad experience with Amazon delivery w.r.t to schedule. They have always been prompt with delivery schedule. But this one time, the product was NOT delivered on time. Instead of before 8PM on Friday, it was delivered at 10PM. The delivery boy has given all excuses for the delayed delivery but the the intent of sending the bottles to my daughter didn't get full-filled.

There weren't any reviews when I bought this product a few months ago. So here's my experience. * The bottle isn't too heavy, it looks just like the provided product image (maybe a little less reddish). * The cap is plastic but covered with copper, which means it's plastic on the inside (water won't be in contact as long as it's standing upright) * It looks good, comparatively modern compared to the ones you find in the local market but the quality is disputable since I don't have any way of knowing if it's pure copper. The color hasn't changed much since the 1st day but it's definitely metal. The instructions for cleaning asked to avoid scrubbing with steel wool etc (which made me doubt the whether only the top layer is copper but it might be a warning to avoid scratches on the outside only). The taste of water does change after 3-4 hours of storing & it's very strong after 2-3 days * It smelled bad on the 1st day BUT that was already mentioned on the packaging (along with instructions for cleaning) * I keep it in my office, I've used it for storing hot as well as cold water. It doesn't maintain the temperature for long but that's not it's meant to do anyways. So all in all, I'm happy with the product so far. Will recommend this, definitely buy if it's around ₹500

Very good quality and durable

There are soo many reasons to buy a copper bottle but on amazon I found it a little costly. After buying it from amazon I saw it in dmart and it was available for 600 rs. I costed me 850 on amazon . Nevertheless maybe not setting your foot out of your house has its own cons. But the bottle is nice and seems like real copper. Not too sturdy tough. I’ve managed to make dents on the bottle by usage. Rough usage may change the shape of the bottle. I haven’t noticed any leaks in past 3 months and I’m happy with this purchase except the price .

The inside of the bottle smells like Thinner/Kerosene/Paint. I have washed it many times but it doesn't go away. There is no credible information anywhere as to why it smells. I suspect it is because of some chemical inside which makes using this bottle counter intuitive. No matter how much one convinces me, that smell keeps reminding you that you are having something toxic. I would not recommend playing with ones health like that. I have copper utensils in my village and another copper bottle at home. None of them smelled. And drinking water from them feels like heaven. Water from those utensils feels heavy and quenches your thirst like you are drinking from a himalayan stream. It quenches your soul. With this one there is always a doubt.

Writing the review after 2 weeks of usage What is good 1. Quality of the product is good 2. Sturdy and rigid What is not good 1. Cap is plastic - kind of takes away the USP of being fully copper. The cap is rigid which is good Points for people to keep in mind 1. Authenticity of copper is a question - I have other vessels made from Copper and the taste of water is different from the one that I get using Dr.Copper. As long as the inner coating copper (and not any material that is harmful) its fine for me and I am using it. But the taste will be different people have to be prepared for the change 2. Cleaning is a bit tough - but filling the bottle with water and keeping a slice of lemon overnight does the work. 3. Bottle is a bit heavy and difficult to take along. Overall I like the product only because of its sturdiness and cool factor. I am not fully sure if the interior is copper but I am going with the assumption it is.

Bought 3...tasted like metal...1 came all scratched up...was super sad cuz I bought the other two for other people so ended up with the scratched up one...the cap was leaking...my truck got soaked x3 and had to just put the bottle aside.. along with the other two...sad

Unlike a few that I have purchased over the last year, the material used in this one looks to be thicker and the product sturdier. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to buy a copper water bottle.
