I am very happy with this product. I received it a few weeks back. I waited to review after use. The food tastes so much better. Cooked evenly. I had discarded the non stick and then the aluminum kadhai's for health reasons. I had triply kadhais, in which food gets burnt despite low flame and you need to keep stirring, for even cooking. But with Indus Cast Iron, i can leave the food to cook in kadhai, without tossing and turning too often, retaining the looks of the food and even cooking. reminds me of the taste of food made by my Mom.
The only thing i probably miss is a covering plate. sometimes the right size may not be available in kitchen.
It is easy to maintain. Avoid chemical agents for cleaning. Water and gentle nylon scrubbing should do. See if you get natural mild cleaning agent. for once in a way. let the oil stay. Wipe properly as instructed. as soon as dry, in this early phase, i apply a thin film of edible oil. even to the handles. No Rust. In time the need to do so wouldnt be necessary. Looking fwd to add more of their products to my kitchen shelf.
