Pros Does the job of vacuuming. We can create schedules and let it run automatically We liked it and hence bought 1 each for my aunt and my parents also. Cons 1. Quite noisy in turbo mode. 2. Unable to suck beach sand. We have to clean these manually using jadu. 3. Wi-Fi connection can be a pain to set up. Happened with my machine and my aunt's, where it worked well for 1 week and then stopped connecting though there were no changes in router configurations. I was able to reset mine after a couple of hours of struggle but my aunt's is still operating without wifi for past 3 months. 4. Mop , area selection and turbo mode are available only with wifi. So my aunty is unable to use these features. 5. Cannot clean in areas that are too small for it to enter [less than 1.5 ft wide]. We have to use jadu in these areas and drag the dirt to the center of the room so it can suck it up.

Need to get used to it for at least 2-3 days. Effective cleaning. The app-based control is amazing. Have no complaints. The mopping function is effective too. Advice: 1. For better results, use vacuum mode first, then change the tank and use mop mode only. 2. Use the ‘S’ pattern for vacuum. (The Y pattern isn’t in any way more effective, but consumes more battery and takes more time). Use the `Y` pattern for a mop. (The 'S' pattern isn’t any effective for mop) 3. To avoid trails and faint wipe marks, keep the rubber wheels clean. 4. For suborn stick stuff on the floor, better to spray the spot with water post vacuum and pre mop mode. 5. Use edge clean mode. Does edge cleaning and mopping very effectively. 6. Keep slippers, loose cloth floor mats, and objects like pens away from the path. 6. If you have very long curtains which almost touch the floor, better to either get them cut and shortened by 6 inches or lift them off the part of the Mi vacuum mop. 7. Be alert during the first few uses of areas where the Mimop robot gets stuck under furniture. If it gets stuck below a low bed or cupboard, better to use the fence option and prevent the MiMop from going under it. 8. Use the save map option 9. Create your rooms on the map and you can selectively clean them. 10. Be alert with your pet cats … cats go crazy … 11. Most important: such cleaning robots need regular upkeep. So empty the vacuum dust bin regularly. Empty the mop water container after every mop session. 12. Keep bathrooms closed or use virtual walls to keep prevent the mi robot from entering your bathroom. 13. Use 5ml of Dettol antiseptic for mopping. (Use at your own risk) 14. Name your robot 😉

1.Warranty was denied for a product delivered on Jan 18th 2022 for which I raised a complaint on Jan 15th 2023 - the reason given was the product was ordered on Jan 14th 2022.To get this update I had to follow up for a month. 2. Within 1 week of raising the complaint we ourselves told the technician and customer service executives that we don’t care about the warranty and want the robot fixed at any cost. However, even after agreeing to pay to get the vacuum repaired a Technician was sent only after a month that too after multiple follow ups , this person was absolutely useless and could not identify the problem at all and he left saying he will bring a new battery to check if it was battery fault and he never returned any calls after that. Again after 20 days of follow up, we learned the complaint was closed , (God knows on what basis ). I had to raise the complaint again (for the 3rd time)this time the technician returned with a new battery - it didn’t work and he said the board must be at fault and took the robot to service centre. After another 15days of follow up, I found the complaint was closed again , I wanted the machine back , so had to raise a new complaint to get it ,he then returned the robot saying fault wasn’t identifiable. 3.I had to raise another complaint and a different technician reached us this time and placed order for yet another new battery which is yet to be delivered for the last two weeks. I’m pretty sure the product is unrepairable and MI service team is wasting our time so we will get frustrated and stop calling them. This new technician is not picking up my calls as well, hence this review rant. The robot is just lying down in our house useless. The robot was very useful while it worked that we even thought of buying mop 2 pro as an upgrade, but now with such fragile durability and horrible horrible customer service, we are so utterly disappointed. We wish we could have invested this money in a better brand. We’re now looking to buy a new robot Vaccum. As tempting as mi mop 2 pro could be with all top features, I’m never even looking at mi again to purchase any product from this brand. Cancelling this brand for good! I think others who don’t want to waste their money should too!!
