Recommended for bibliophiles, and for those who want to preserve old books. I have bought this small one (height 25 mm) twice, and the big one (height 375 mm) once. And given the lack of other choices, would buy again. If you planning to cover small books (standard Penguin Classics size) and moderately sized books (Everyman's Classics size), use the small one. With a narrow margin, you can also use for moderate-sized trade paperbacks. For standard hardcover books (Allen Lane hardcover size), or for moderately sized coffee-table books, use the big one. Definitely gives your books the added protection if you are planning to read books while on the train, or while travelling. The cover is transparent, moderately thick (thicker than the unmanageable transparent plastic sheets you find at local bookstores). It is well marked for cutting and sizing with scissors before pasting, and if you do it right, makes your cover quite smart. The adhesive is sturdy, without being sticky. I first used this in August 2022, and there's no yellowing or leaking of adhesive as of now. I'd also advice watching some librarians on how to use contact paper as book covers on YouTube. Otherwise, there are chances of having air-bubbles trapped in between. The only issue I have with this product is its price. Priced at almost Rs. 500 for the small one, and Rs. 750 for the big one, this could have been priced much less. Again, given the lack of other choices, this is the best you could use if you are looking for contact paper in India at the moment.
